Jacob Underwood, MS, LPCC

Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

Jacob is passionate about helping people feel more grounded, connected, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges. He creates a space that feels safe, welcoming, and judgment-free — a place where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for support, Jacob brings a calm, compassionate presence to help guide the way.

His approach is rooted in collaboration and real human connection. Jacob works alongside clients to explore patterns, gain clarity, and build the kind of tools that lead to lasting change. He believes therapy should feel like a genuine conversation — one where you're not just heard, but truly understood. With curiosity and care, Jacob helps clients move toward the version of themselves they’re ready to step into.

Beyond the Therapy Room

Jacob finds balance and energy in the outdoors. Whether he’s exploring a new trail with his Australian Shepherd, kayaking, or spending time by the water, being in nature helps him feel grounded and present. He also enjoys live music, sports, traveling, and slowing down with a good book when he can. Jacob values connection, simplicity, and a well-rounded life — and he brings those same values into the work he does with his clients.
